What Is a Node?
Any installation of NanoPing is referred to as a node. This is the environment where you run and deploy pipelines.
We provide a unified management system for your NanoPing setup, allowing you to control everything without switching between multiple dashboards. By setting up a hub, you gain the ability to manage the entire cluster from any single node.
What Is a Hub?
A hub acts as an address book for your setup. It allows you to see the location of all other nodes and instructs them on how to establish connections with one another.
Essentially, the hub enables discovery; all nodes connected to the same hub can communicate with each other.
To learn more, see the Hub section.
Config
Both hubs and clients share the same config file. The config file defines various runtime parameters for the node, including authentication, TLS, certificates, gRPC settings, and hub configuration.
For more information, check out the Config section.
