Local Demo Setup

Description​

This is the standard demonstration setup. It is designed to be easy to run with minimal configuration, as it does not require multiple nodes or complex networking.

Requirements​

  • 1 Node: Local Machine
  • GStreamer: Installed on the machine

Setup Guide​

  1. Import Pipeline: Load the local-demo.json file into your NanoPing node.
  2. Set GStreamer Path: Locate the lifecycle handler in the code section of the pipeline and update the path to point to your local GStreamer executable. You can see it here
  3. Run: Everything else is pre-configured to work out of the box.

Customization​

If you do not require the raw UDP stream for your specific test, you can simply remove that section from the pipeline without affecting the rest of the demo.
