Quick Add KPI Components

In Nanoping, you can add KPIs directly to your dashboard. At first, it might feel tricky, but once you know the flow, it’s quick and simple.

1. Start your pipelines​

Make sure your pipelines are running before adding KPIs.

2. Open the Metrics panel​

Click the Metrics button — either in the top-right corner of Nanoping or from one of your toolbars.

3. Search for a metric​

Use the search bar to find the metric you want to track.
For example, let’s search for Carrier Loss.

4. Add as KPI​

Right-click on the metric and select Add as KPI.

5. Fill out the KPI form​

A form will appear where you can configure your KPI.
Here you can choose between different KPI types (see KPI types documentation for detailed descriptions).

6. Confirm and configure​

After clicking Add, you’ll see a second form for fine-tuning your KPI settings.

7. Save your dashboard​

Once the new KPI is added, you’ll be redirected to the KPI Dashboard.
To finalize and activate the KPI, press Save.

That’s it! You should now see your new KPI live on the dashboard. See the KPI types overview: KPI Types
